My name is taken from the Santa Margherita winery in Italy. Dulcedo is the name of their high end dessert wine, whose description fits me very well, if I do say so myself: “Powerful and at the same time delicate, the flavor transmits all its sweetness and complexity in a way that surprises.” I am a Tortie Tabby Manx Mix, and I am also a Feline Diabetic. (Ooooo, I hate those daily blood tests!) Nevertheless, I have decided to help other kitties by becoming a memfur of the Feline Diebetes Message Board, the CLAW Feline Health Society (obsolete) and the CLAW Purring Paws Society (obsolete).

Most people sing in the shower… but I like to whine in the bathtub. I am named after the amber colored rum, and I am an Orange Cream Maine Coon. Unfortunately, I don’t trust many humans, so I spend most of my time hissing – But then, that sort of goes well with mewsic too. My Meowmie sings professionally, and I like to sleep next to her when she rehearses because it is very relaxing. I had decided to work on my vocal training with Meowmie, so that I could add some songs to the CLAW Mewsic on Purrade site, but, alas, they closed down the site. I had also decided to become a memfur of the Friends of the CLAW Theater because I love being such a ham, but they too, soon closed.

My name originates from the scientific name for the elder tree, ‘Sambuca Nigra’, which grows abundantly throughout Italy. I am a Black and White Chartreux/Siamese Mix. I became a memfur of Paws for a Cause and the CLAW Problems and Solutions Committee, but the sites are no longer being updated. Next time you’re seeking a little Italian mystery after dinner, order up a sambuca. And whether you’re superstitious or not, make sure to count those coffee beans (odd numbers, never even, for good luck).
